Accomplishes More partners with children, their peers, families, and communities to ensure that every child has the opportunity to be more connected, confident, and secure.
Vision
Every child has value and worth. Attaining skills for social integration and developing positive connections with others help children gain more competence, live without stigma, and retain a sense of value and worth into adulthood. Through engagement early in life, children can gain skills, confidence, and stability, regardless of past challenges. With respect for each family's culture, values, and goals, Accomplishes More recognizes that partnering with children, and those who care about them, is key to a child's full participation in life
Description
Accomplishes More is a non-profit community-based mental health provider offering services to assist children aged 2-12 and their caregivers. From information, to referrals and assessments, to individual and group therapy, to social skill-building, the Accomplishes More team offers direct support to children in central North Carolina. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Accomplishes More is committed to supporting children with behavioral, emotional, sensory, and/or social challenges. Recognizing that a child's wellbeing is influenced by their environments, Accomplishes More offers formal and informal training and support to caregivers, families, educators, healthcare professionals, community leaders, and anyone involved in children's lives.
